1957 – 2007 : Which future for the European construction ?

After the two negative votes over the Constitution and the successive period of reflexion, the Young European Federalists (JEF) propose to bring together young activists from different countries in order to start acting for a pan-European referendum.

In this context, JEF France organises a European Seminar in cooperation with their German and Italian counterparts. Young people from other countries are invited as well. To raise the awareness of citizens for the transnational character of the European debate, JEF would like to facilitate the discussion of young people from different national backgrounds, among themselves, but also with citizens of Paris and MEPs.

This exchange should enable to revive the construction of a Europe of citizens by supporting the discussions between young people of different nationalities and the citizens of Paris.

This seminar will take place one week before the French presidential elections, thus we will debate with politicians and with youth political parties as well.
